The rules are actually a postdigital algorithm, it is showed down below. A brief explanation would be as follow:



Step1: I take as an input a digital avatar of a person, producing as an output a handmade portrait Or the Memoautomaton takes a webcam photo as an input  and produces as an output a new digital-made portrait.​

 

Step2: The portraits are exposed to a “subjective filter’s crossover” in other words: I make a new drawing based on the Memoautomaton's drawing and the Memoautomaton makes a digital drawing based on the handmade one.​



Step3: The portraits are exhibited digitally and analogically. If the feedback is interesting, I go to step 1​.​
